On March 14th at approximately 9:15 pm, Litchfield Police, Litchfield Fire, and Hudson Ambulance responded to a single vehicle crash in the area of 367 Charles Bancroft Highway. Upon arrival the lone occupant, Marc Graskey, 49 from Hudson, NH, was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary investigation revealed that Graskey was travelling southbound on Charles Bancroft Highway, crossed over the northbound lane before striking a tree on the opposite side of the roadway. It appears as though speed could be a contributing factor in the crash. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact Officer Flynn, Litchfield Police, at (603)424-4047.
